The AstralPool Solo 18g Salt Chlorinator is the entry point of the Solo range, built for compact and courtyard pools. It produces 18 grams of chlorine an hour and is rated to 40,000 litres in tropical conditions, so more again in a temperate climate. Like every unit in the range it is made in Australia and certified to AS/NZS 3136.
Solo is the standalone unit in the range. It runs your chlorination and nothing else, which is exactly what most pools need. Everything is managed from the touch screen or your phone, and once it is set it looks after itself.
The cell is titanium with a ruthenium and iridium coating, sitting in a clear housing so you can see its condition at a glance, and it reverses polarity every four hours to shed scale automatically. All Seasons mode steps production back as the water cools rather than running summer output all year. For New Zealand pools that is the difference between a chlorinator you think about and one you do not.
