Their story
For generations, the RAV4 has been a familiar sight in driveways right across Australia and New Zealand — the one that gets the family to the coast, the campsite and the weekend away, and safely home again.
This season's grand prize is a Toyota RAV4 GR Sport plug-in hybrid — the most powerful RAV4 ever, and a car built for exactly the kind of summers we're celebrating.
Because a Great Summer Staycation is about making the most of home — with the freedom to explore whenever you feel like it. This summer, one lucky family will get to do both.
Why this makes summer at home better
The RAV4 GR Sport plug-in hybrid is built for exactly the summer we're celebrating - the one that starts and ends at home.
With up to 154km of electric-only range, a whole summer of beach runs, market trips and school pick-ups can happen without a drop of fuel - just plug in at home overnight and you're set for the next one. And when the backyard's where it's at, it gives back too: it can power your gear straight from the car, so the music, the lights and the frozen drinks keep going long after the sun goes down.
There's room for the whole family and all the summer clutter, all-wheel-drive confidence for the days you do venture further, and enough effortless power to make every drive part of the fun. It's more than a prize — it's a whole summer of better, parked in your driveway.
